After working in London as a Legal PA, Charlotte Delcore took a break to raise her son. Now her Son is at nursery and Charlotte has decided to pursue something she feels passionate about, namely her local area of St Albans.
Charlotte set up In A City Deals in September 2011, the main aim being to support local independent businesses and to offer the public great daily deals at 50% off. The deals that In A City Deals feature can be anything from a haircut or golf lessons to the services of accountants and solicitors.
After extensive research Charlotte learnt that there is a high number of St Albans people signed up to Groupon or other daily deal sites in London. Why take business into London when St Albans has just as good eateries and attractions?
Shortly after In A City Deals launched they partnered up with www.allaboutstalbans.com another local business that is passionate about St Albans. The public are able to register on the website to receive daily deals or they can be found through All About St Albans and keep up to date with the deals on Facebook and Twitter. In A City Deals welcomes existing and new businesses to the site.
In A City Deals supports local charities including St Albans Mayor’s bursary fund, a charity that supports children in care.
